The
League City Proud Organization
presents the
14th Annual 'Holiday in the Park' Parades & Festival
December 2-3-4 2011 @ League Park
Happy Holidays
League City Families, Neighbors & Guests!
On behalf of
the LCP Board of Directors, we would like to extend a very heartfelt
'League City' Welcome to all holiday visitors that choose to join
in our annual celebration at beautiful League Park! Our Mission
is to invite everyone to the historic part of town during the most
enjoyable time of the year! We have created a wonderful social event
that includes all kinds of activities for kids 2-92 to enjoy! Music,
parades, shopping eating, Santa and Snow! That's right...SNOW IS
BACK! This event has now become a tradition for our wonderful community
for all to enjoy!
"Holiday
in the Park" announces the exciting theme for 2011: "Holidays
Around the World" to highlight the diversity we all enjoy here.
We will host 3 parades, a big Festival - which will host over 50
vendors and continuous entertainment along with a huge family friendly
carnival as an opportunity to capture the old town charm that you
can definitely feel throughout Holiday in the Park!
The City of
Oaks...is now the largest City in Galveston County. The Holidays
bring us together to share fun and fellowship, much it was at the
turn of the Century over a 100 years ago. The City will also be
celebrating its 50th birthday in 2012 and this holiday season we
will kickoff the celebrations for 2012 in style.
The League City
Proud Organization invites you to come out and enjoy the festive
grand night Parade, Saturday, December 3rd plus the Festival hosting
vendors, arts, crafts, food and community booths. St. Mary's church
choir will once provide Christmas caroling at the old church beginning
at 5:45 & don't forget the ringing of the old church bells at
6:28 p.m. to announce the PARADE IS ABOUT TO BEGIN!
Most of all,
enjoy League City and all the blessings of the Holidays offer to
us all! Invite family, friends and neighbors to meet you at Holiday
in the Park.
See you there!
